Marc Geller is currently consulting/advising to Cedar Crossing LP, an 11,000 acre real estate project situated at the mouth of the Houston Ship Chanel, to take advantage of the expansion of the Panama Canal. Previously, Mr. Geller managed venture capital funds from 1995 until 2012. These funds were comprised of Sternhill Partners LP, GC Technology Fund LP, and MGVF I-III. These funds invested in both information technology and life science start-ups. The funds under management were in the aggregate in excess of $150 million. Prior to Mr. Geller’s venture capital investing, he developed over one million square feet of commercial office space in Houston, TX, as well as acting as President and CEO of a privately-held retail-oriented real estate investment trust (REIT). Mr. Geller began his business career at Coopers & Lybrand as a supervisory tax specialist. He has previously served on the boards of the following public companies: Boingo Wireless and Nutmeg Industries. In addition, he has served on private company boards, including Zantaz Inc., Hemosense Inc., Navini Inc., and Myelos Inc. He currently serves on the boards of First Serve of New Mexico and is on the Deans Advisory Councils at both American University and Suffolk University Law School. Mr. Geller holds BA, JD and LLM degrees.
